The 12th Delta Life Women’s Handball Competition, organised by Bangladesh Handball Federation, will begin on November 8 in the city, reports UNB.
The teams, yet to register their names with the Federation, have been asked to do so by November 5 paying an entry fee of Tk 500.

Bangladesh Ansar and Rajshahi reached the Spectra Group National Women’s Kabaddi Championship final beating their respective rivals in the semifinals Tuesday at the Outer Stadium Kabaddi Court.
Ansar overwhelmed Faridpur 38-12 while Rajshahi defeated Narail 24-12.

A training camp for the women’s kabaddi team began at the Dhanmondi Women’s Sports Complex Gymnasium yesterday, ahead of the upcoming 3rd Asian Women’s Kabaddi Championship in India.
The monthlong camp will host fifteen players from different district sports associations.

Bangladesh Volleyball Federation Saturday distributed certificates to 16 women players on completion of a three-week residential training at the Dhanmondi Women’s Sports Complex, reports UNB.
Abdur Rahman Sarker, managing director of National Bank Limited, distributed the certificates among the participants as chief guest.
Farida Begum conducted the camp while Amit Kumar Krishna was her deputy.

Bangladesh Ansar regained the title of the EXIM Bank 19th National Women’s Handball Competition after six years outplaying hosts Dhaka DSA by 20-09 goals in the final at the Mirpur Shaheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium in the city Wednesday, reports UNB.
