Brammanbaria, Apr 12  A husband has killed his wife at Budhunti village of Bijoynagar upazila on Monday morning.Police arrested Siddique Mia, husband of the dead Aklima Begum, 35.

Rafiqul Islam, sub-inspector of Bijoynagar Police Station said that Siddique and his wife Aklima used to run a small restaurant at Budhunti Bazar.

They had a quarrel over the work in their restaurant.

Siddique hit Aklima on her head with a stick all on a sudden and she died on the spot.

Aklima’s mother filed a case with Bijoynagar Police Station.
