Move to change Hindu family law protested

Bangladesh Jatiya Hindu Mohajot Friday staged a demonstration against the attempt to change the Hindu family law at Muktangon in the city, said a press release.

They also declared for holding a grand rally of the organization in this context in October this year.

Speakers said Hindus are living peacefully under the existing Hindu family law for thousands of years. But nowadays some evil women are trying to change it with the help of NGO’s financial assistance.

‘But if the government takes any initiative to change the existing law then they have to pay a lot.’

Among others Bangl-adesh Jatiya Hindu Mohajot Secretary General Adv Gobindra Chanda Pram-anik, Adv Dinobondhu Roy, Monoj Kumar Mondol, Hindu Chhatro Mohajot Shashanko were present at the demonstration meeting.
