London Met is pleased to announce a new scholarship in collaboration with EIB, Education International, Belgium.
EIB – targets the most destitute orphan (female) children of Bangladeshi society in the Cox’s Bazar area (the South of the country near the Burmese border).
Their main objective is to fight poverty, injustice and child abuse by providing these poor children with the best education possible, to help them to become secure and independent people.
London Metropolitan University has agreed to offer one free (tuition waiver) scholarship to a selected undergraduate student of the EIB education programme in Bangladesh, every two years, starting from September/October 2006. EIB will be responsible for payment of all the other costs associated with this scholarship collaboration.
